Growing up in a creative home, Cherry was always surrounded by endless possibilities for crafting and making. She and her mom often got into lots of crafty trouble together, and she is so grateful for those early memories! Cherry started sewing for her dolls at age four, and before long was making her own clothes, dolls, and home décor. Over the years, her love for sewing and other arts and crafts has only deepened, leading her to design fabrics that reflect the joy and creativity she’s always cherished. Cherry lives with her husband and their mini schnauzer in a small town near Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she continues to create, inspire, and find the joy of simple, handmade things. My new fabric collection, Awakening, is inspired by the joy and tranquility of a spring garden. As I watch the world come to life, vibrant flowers blooming, the soft rustle of new leaves, and the gentle hum of nature, I’m reminded of the peace and renewal this season brings. Each design in this collection captures that quiet beauty and the simple joy of watching the earth awaken. It’s my way of sharing the warmth, calm, and inspiration that spring fills my heart with, and I hope it brings the same sense of peace and creativity to your projects.
