In 1928, Juan Torres Casals, second generation, began the development of vintage brandy aged in oak from the best white wines of Penedès (Barcelona). The work of Juan Torres was soon recognized and his brandies became synonymous of quality. Jaime I is made with the traditional Distillation of Parellada wines, which are subsequently aged in American oak casks. We combine several soleras or parent brandies, chosen from among the oldest in the cellar.
