Bottled in the early spring, this whiskey has just emerged from the staves of its oak barrel home. Summer Rye brings freshly extracted flavors enhancing the whiskey's complexity and depth. A combination of Pot Distilled Kentucky Rye with vintage Rye barrels (aged 7-9 years), this whiskey experience leads with a honeysuckle nose and ends with a balanced nutmeg and cinnamon finish. For those that have shied away from the bold spice of Rye whiskey, Summer Rye provides a new vantage point of what Rye whiskey can be.
7-9yr blend of Preservation Distillery's pot distilled rye and sourced Tennessee rye
Proof ranges from 121-122/60.5%-61% ABV.
